Despite a very disappointing performance against Roscommon Gaels on
Sunday in Lisnamult, the National Automation Limited U21s have
qualified for the Division 1 County Semi Final. It is anticipated that
this will be played circa 30th Nov. The date, time and opposition will
emerge shortly. Thanks to all Club members who helped in the successful hosting of the Garda Cup Final in Abbey Park on Saturday There
are currently circa 100 advertisers enlisted for the upcoming “Who
Wants to be a Thousandaire” event which will be held in St Joseph’s Hall
on Saturday 6th December. The advertisers are mainly from the North
Roscommon/South Sligo/ Carrick on Shannon area. Advertisers will feature
throughout the 3 hour duration of the show on 2 no. 8ft x 6ft rolling
screens The Club is anxious to ensure that all businesses are aware of
the opportunity and a final reminder is issued to those who have already
been contacted and those who may not have been contacted, but who might
wish to advertise, to contact any of the following before the end of
the current week;- Karen Brogan, Martin Dolan, Steve Tonry, Sinead
Keenehan, Mary Clifford, Aidan Lavin, Len Sutton and Peter Bolger.
Tickets are also on sale for the event and they may be obtained from the
aforementioned persons or from any of the adult male and female
players. Congratulations to David Casey and his St. Croan's team on their win at the weekend and hopefully they can now go all the way.
