Leitrim bar with the line ''Hi I'm Sean, I play corner back for

club extends its best wishes to the pair on the big day and welcomes

UPDATE 24TH MARCH 2014
An Under strength McGovern Directional Drilling team, in its first game under new Manager Peter Bolger, went down to a stronger Clann na Gael team in Johnstown on Sunday. Unfortunately the game clashed with Boyle Celtic's Connacht cup quarter final in Castlebar and meaning that Sean had the unenviable task of having to choice which game to play. With Sean unfortunately along with the injured Enda Smith and Roch Hanmore absent meant opportunities for some of the younger players to show their potential. Evan McGrath stepped in at 6 in Sean's absence and really showed his pedigree in this position and along with Luke Brennan also making his first start at this level acquitted themselves excellently. It was an all under 21 back line and along with the experience of the returning Stephen Tonra and Liam Conroy when introduced in the second half, there is a good balance of youth and experience within the squad. The game was tight in the first half and only when Donie Shine scored a goal from play and a debatable penalty did a gap open. Boyle hung in in the second half and made it difficult for Clann right to the end. Tadhg McKenna at wing forward was Boyle's best player contributing some nice points from play and along with David Callaghan and Darren O 'Connor were our best performers. Team - C. Smith, L.Brennan, C. Cox, M. Goldrick, M. Hanmore, E. McGrath, B. Furey, S Tonry, D. Callaghan, D. Kelly, T. Lowe, T, McKenna, D, Smith, D O'Connor, M O'Donohoe, subs used - M' O Connor, J Sweeney, C Goldrick, L. Conroy. The Next outing will be against Roscommon Gaels in mid April.
The national Automation Limited Minors will continue their Division 2 League action with a trip to Knockcroghery to play St Dominics on Sunday next the 30th at 12 noon.
