Pearses member Frankie Flynn as he commences Day 5 of the Roscommon
Sponsored Walk in aid of Pieta House at 9am on Thursday from the Abbey

delighted to be associated with the walk. We urge large numbers to come
out with their Club colours and walk through Boyle as the group commence

Friday next represents a big day for club stalwart Sean Purcell as he
ties the knot with Castlebar native Catriona Daly. Sean and Catriona got
together during their Sligo I.T. days and the long term rumour was that
Sean introduced himself to Catriona in the
Leitrim bar with the line ''Hi I'm Sean, I play corner back for
Roscommon'' but this has been rebuffed many times since by Sean. The
club extends its best wishes to the pair on the big day and welcomes
home those who are traveling for the occasion.
