UPDATE 9th MARCH
The U16's went down to a stronger Kilmore/Shannon Gaels team on Sunday
in the abbey park. Their next game will be against Stokestown on the
26th of this month. The National Automation minors will play the
Kilmore/Shannon Gaels combination on Sunday at 12 in Kilmore. The
McGovern Directional Drilling team are delighted to announce Peter
Bolger as the new Senior Manager for 2013. Peter, a former Boyle player
of distinction has previously managed Kilglass Gaels and Tulsk, bringing
Tulsk to an All-Ireland semi-final where they lost to Finuge of Kerry.
The club wishes him the very best for the coming year. The next match
for the team is away to Clann on the 21st of March. There will be
a meeting on Tuesday at 9 o clock in the club room for all team
managers of the Men's, Ladies and Minor club. It is imperative that
all managers attend to draw up the pitch rota for the year ahead. The
club is delighted to announce that Kelly's Supervalu Boyle has joined
forces with the Club for the Kelly's Supervalu/ Boyle GAA Loyalty
Support Scheme. Kelly's Supervalu will, from 1st April, award loyalty
points to Club members and their families and friends who currently hold
Kelly's Supervalu Loyalty Cards when they shop in their Supermarket.
The value of those points will go to the club.
The card holder will continue to be credited with their own points for
their shopping. Loyalty Card holders should text their 11 digit loyalty
card number(ie. number on back of card) to Club Treasurer Mary Smith at
086 8211683 as soon as possible to be registered for participation in
the scheme. The Club encourages shoppers who don't already hold
Supervalu loyalty cards to obtain cards from Supervalu and register with
the Club. Boyle GAA Club thanks Kelly's Supervalu for providing this
assistance to the Club. Well done to Roscommon on their
win over Fermanagh and best wishes to the U21s on Wednesday against Mayo
in Castlebar and especially the Boyle contingent. Registration is due
for those who still have not paid to club registrar Cian Smith. It is
vital for all players to be registered for insurance purposes.
